I am proud to announce that I have received the Liebster Award from my fellow crafter and writer Angie Ouellette-Tower at God's Growing Garden. She gave me a great compliment about my blog. I have answered her questions below as part of the tagging process, and will eventually provide 11 blog recommendations.
My Answers To Angie's Questions:
1. What is your favorite Jane Austen book? Though I've heard of Jane Austen, I've never read any of her classic books.
2. Pick just one: chocolate, hard candy or licorice? I like hard candy all times of the year, but especially at Christmas.
3. What is your pet peeve? Being in earshot of negative speaking is a pet peeve of mine.
4. Can you speak a different language (other than English)? (If so -which one?) I only speak English and I like Spanish.
5. Do you have a garden & if so what kind (veggies, fruit or flowers)? I don't have a garden, but when I do it'll be lots of containers with fruits, veggies AND flowers!
6. What is your favorite artist? (visual artist)? Raoul Dufy, a fauvist who was part of a renegade group that called themselves "wild beasts," is my fav artist.
7. What kind of perfume/cologne do you wear? I like wearing natural citrus sprays with a simple bouquet.
8. What is your favorite "Great Lake"? (If you are not from North America then just pick your favorite lake) My favorite lake is any mountain lake.
9. Who/what motivates you? I am motivated by anyone who has succeeded in bringing their dreams to pass with very little to start with.
10. Skiing: down hill, cross-country, water or none? I would like to take lessons in cross-country skiing.
11. Without looking this up on google - what is the quadratic formula?? - quick!!! The quadratic formula has something to do with a quarter of something.

This was so much fun - I love learning more about my blogging friends! I agree about the pet peeve - negative speak or gossip is never a good thing. I've never heard about "Raoul Dufy - I'll have to look him up - very interesting. And thank you so much for the compliments about my blog.
