Papier Mache How To: Adding Tissue Paper Pepper Stems

Tissue Paper Peppers

Like the peppers, the stems on my paper mache project were easy to shape.

I used the same paper mache glue recipe that I shared in the first post: Papier Mache With Glue Is A Snap.  These tissue paper stems are more uniform in shape than the pic shows.

I will paint the green pepper a lighter green to distinguish it from its stem.  Look closely and you can see the pencil outlines where I had planned to paint peppers onto these handcrafted napkin rings.  I like the tissue paper sculpting better.  Don't you?
